F YES there will be !!!!!!Folks are welcome to hang out here for a bit. There will be plenty of drinks provided.
Good to get that out of the way lolAnd I'll say ...
Yes you can call me Yoko in person , my wife calls me that lol
Positive energy bro!!!Crisis averted! USPS put me through the wringer!
I shipped my outlaw chopper toazwelke for a sheath which he was kind enough to offer to do on short notice. I sent it on Oct 7, tracking for Oct 9. He didn't get it until the 15th. No worries, Al made a sheath and dangler and got it back to USPS on the 16th (less than 24 hours). Next the tracking didn't update and stayed in Pre-shipment status throughout the week and into the weekend. I called on Saturday and the system wouldn't put me through to an agent since "they don't have the item yet". The recording said they would hang up to help other customers. I politely said "sounds good, that makes sense", or words to that effect...
Yesterday it magically changed to out for delivery and they dropped it off at 8 pm. I just finished putting on edge on it so it's set to go. Glad I have the sheath. This thing is dangerous.

That’s great news brother ! That Al is pretty cool, for sure. The only competent part of the USPS is D dericdesmond , IMO .Crisis averted! USPS put me through the wringer!

I've never met you in person, but I'm 100% sure I'll know who you are immediately.Should we do name tags this year lol
True storyI've never met you in person, but I'm 100% sure I'll know who you are immediately.
Damn I was hoping to finally meet upit gives me a large sad, but I've cancelled my ticket and will be staying home this year. I was SOOOO close! Had my bag packed and ready to fly out tomorrow night.
I'm not sure if it's covid, RSV or something else, but I got hit hard- been sick for a week and a half and still hacking up and blowing out all sorts of nasty stuff. My wife has a sore throat now, too, and the last thing I want to be is 1000s of miles away from her if she's sick.
Anyway, it really sucks- it's been a long time since I looked forward to something, but I guess I'll just have to wait for the next thing.
On the upside, the airline's given me a credit for my ticket, minus 100 bucks, that I can use within the next year so I'm not completely out of pocket. That said, I was planning on having some knives available, so I'll post them up here and if anyone has any $ left after the shindig, drop me a line. Table price, yo!
Have fun and stay safe ya'll!
