Official SURVIVE! picture thread

I agree. I like it a lot. Very useful. I also been rocking the clip up side down like you had it mounted. Works well. The handle fits my hand perfect. Its like Guy used a mold of my hand to build it. I'm struggling to figure out where this design needed changes.

Great to hear TT!
I think the only improvements will be the solid tang and the deeper index finger pocket. I have nerve damage so that's a huge plus.

I like a deep finger groove for the leading finger. If I ever needed to thrust I would like to have the extra purchase on the handle.

Is the handle going to be a little longer as well? Sorry to hear about your nerve damage. I'm sure it doesn't make life any easier, but it doesn't seem to slow you down!

I missed it, you're no fun! :D

I think it'll definitely help if you ever have to thrust it into something.
When I do feather sticks and certain carves, I kind of do a saw motion from the front of blade to the back of it instead of cutting straight down in the same location of the blade. I knicked my index finger once with my old 3.5 because I wasn't gripping the handle hard enough.

Yeah I think it's a bit longer if I remember right. That'll be a big plus!
Haha it's actually kind of nice! Now it doesn't hurt as much when I hit it with a hammer!

Lol. I don't use a hammer much. Just the ole electricians hammer (My linemans), and those smart pretty good. My kid got his first wood block and hammer set for Christmas and smashed his finger after about two hours of banging on it.

Haha it's a great life lesson for him at such a young age!
I've learned to swing a hammer with both hands over the years because it's nearly impossible to hold a nail after you've turned your thumb or other fingers into hamburger meat with a framing hammer. Popping off thumb nails is feels delightful also.

Three flames :)
