Haha it's kinda cool but it's really a novelty item for popping beers open. It would be a huge felony to use it so it only comes out when I'm walking back to the truck late at night if I'm out. I figure that a ridiculously bright flashlight and a good thump to the skull are my only ways of defense in good ol California unless they have a gun. They can have my van and wallet if they do!

Yes, I sold the modded 6. I'm really looking forward to the new spec 6 though. The camp knife is a cool smaller chopper, but I don't ever take it with me. It just feels really big for an all around knife. I think that wide blade makes it seem very large. The 6 can do pretty much everything the camp knife could, but it felt smaller and I was more likely to carry it. This debate about carrying larger knives is what made me start my thread today. I love the idea of the GSO 12, but will I actually use it? Also the camp knife is currently for sale on another site.

Nice! I'm really liking my 3.5 a lot. Yours looks like an EDC should!

Mind if I inquire about the watch? I'm due for a new one, so I've just started looking. I haven't been diving in a few years, but I still prefer a good Dive watch.

Haha, thanks. The 3.5 has kicked griptilian out of my pocket. The watch is a seiko skx007, with a nato strap. I've only had it about a week. So far so good.
 
There should be some 4.7s coming up after the existing orders are filled, unless you've got your heart set on a 5.

I have a brand new one with natural canvas, now drill, jimping, and firesteel notch. Shoot me a PM with your budget. I'm not 100% sure I want to let her go but you never know
 
Definitely set on a 5. Budget is slim right now but I have a 4.1 with the camo canvas handle black sheath and a brown kydex scout sheath, and I'd be able to add cash in a week or so
 
Two dog look on the exchange, i seen one yesterday. The exchange can be your best friend when looking for something specific. Good luck on your endeavor. There will be more too once the starters start rolling out. At least IMO, I think folks will shed their users and keep the safe queens. I was in search for a 3v 5.1 for a few months, patience is keep. :) Welcome to the forum bud.
 
I have been checking out this sub forum for a while and finally decided to get a GSO when I could find one. A couple popped up in the exchange a few days ago and I jumped on the 4.1. It should be here today or tomorrow. I am looking forward to it. I do like the 4.7 and hope to get my hands on one of those someday. I am not used to the S!K whole order / preorder thing yet. Keeping my eyes open for when the 4.7 are available on their site.
 
Very cool. Welcome cutchu. Love the 4.1 very versatile blade. Keep your eyes open you'll snag a 4.7 in no time. Definitely post some pictures when you get it. Let us know your thoughts.
