I almost got some for st. Patrick's day. I settled for some Jameson and killigans red. Killigans red is a tradition for me I hadn't broken for almost 15 yes.

Nice! What color handle did you get?? I had to jump on the n-2 2nds... Too cheap to pass on, I am planning to mod them and keep the other 2 as-is
 
It's green linen. I had to get a black sheath also as a spare. Is the spine on yours pretty sharp also? I need to check to see if it can throw sparks.
 
The jimping seems a little sharper than most old spec knives. I bet you could spark off of them

Fact! All are users except maybe the numbered N-2 (it has been used by me but now retired) and one of the other N-2's might become my wife's. She used to make fun of them but is coming around.
 
the new jade G-10 handles came today for her 5.1 she loved them! Happy camper all-around.
