Official SURVIVE! picture thread

rswanson,
Those look like the textured handles... Are they? How are you liking them.

I thought the same thing when I saw them in the other thread, and now I'm near positive they must be microtextured. rswanson, my black canvas and camo canvas, and even my buddy's natural canvas do not look like those. Best looking grips I've seen in the wild, congrats man.

Ah I'm jealous of the safety gear. I rock a safety squint behind my ballistic shooting sunglasses when I use my old MS 260 and always think, man this is stupid. I should get a set of chaps and a visor. A couple weekends ago we were topping some 30' overgrown cedar shrubs that were up in the service line of a neighbor on my street, on top of an 8' step ladder with my neighbor holding a tow line from his truck to direct the tops to fall away from the line and I was thinking, this is what ER trips are made of. The 260 is just about powerful enough to knock you right off the ladder.

Part of the family with a remote cousin...

I found the tiniest patch of moss in my backyard today! Now I can take some GSO pics on a moss bed like all the cool kids :D

A picture of my well documented bae. This is just a warm up for when I get some new knives to photograph.

A little balancing act!

Sent from the pay phone beside 7/11!

I was a service engineer for about 12 years and one of the first things I notice is if a guy keeps the protective sheet on the screen of his Fluke meter. Tells me he is particular and takes care of his gear!

Yes yes I am lol I've been meaning to look for a screen protector for it cause the factory one is starting to loose it's stickiness!

Quite a pair. Hooray for new chopping blocks! What type of wood?

Thank you Silver! I'm not 100% sure I'm thinking birch it had already been cut up all that was left was a couple of HEAVY pieces! It took two of us to get it into the truck!

Regardless of tree type, that is a nice wide working surface. Hope to see more action shots as time goes on. Enjoy!
