Not exactly, no. 82 blade is a little longer, and a little slimmer (spine to edge), and the curve up to the tip is a little more gradual. The nail nick is farther towards the tip in the Toothpick, but that may be related to the difference in grinds between the Northfield and Tidioute lines. Can someone tell me if the main blade of the #82 is the same blade (exactly) as that used in the single blade #12 toothpicks?
So, what four did you choose?View attachment 1017750
Went all out and have four on standby. Loving the covers and shields on this run.
I went for the copperhead, elderberry and stag three blades and a micarta two blade. Hope for a firm pull, >7 would be nice. I like not having half stops. The latest Churchill was too soft for my taste. So, what four did you choose?

Shew the pull on my Churchill (the main at least) is maybe a 4. Has decent snap at the end though at least. That’s funny, I found the Churchill to be a perfect balancing act at a 6-7 pull.
I don’t recall how the pull was on the Dixie I let get away... so I suppose it was acceptable one way or the other.
