Ironically my shiro is in the hurt box too. A few months ago the detent ball vanished.

I sent it to Russia for repairs a couple weeks back, but it got turned around in the U.K. for not having a company name.

I'm still trying to fight Canada post to reimburse the 130.00 I spent. Or resend it. I had two post workers double check the info before it got rubber stamped.

My shiro reminds me of high maintenance girlfriends. Caused me a lot of grief, but brought me lots of joy too.

That sucks! Some guy on UTube had his detent ball fall out on a Haiti(?) and it got stuck in the hole on the blade I hope that all gets sorted out for you soon!

I'm not sure if this comment was directed at my issue but..

My shiro was performing as usual, 100 percent beautiful slicer and flipper like normal. No warning signs, one Friday night after work I pulled it outta my pocket, and the detent ball was missing. I had used it all day every day for the 1 yr prior with zero issues.

I'm a fidget flipper kind of guy tho.. if I'm in an elevator by myself, I'm flipping my knife. Haha

Probably a combo of harsh conditions and habitual flipping. Even though this happened to mine I 100% recommend Shirogorov as a brand. I'd buy another in a second if I could afford it.
