Oh Say Can You Snark...

Anybody have a TOPS B.O.B. Fieldcraft? I keep coming back to that one.
I wish I'd looked for one at SMKW yesterday, but it wasn't in the front of my brain.
Back of my brain can get pretty damn cluttered.

Prepared Mind 101 has one and did a review if I recall correctly.

Picked up my boat over the weekend. A P&H Quest. I think it's sexy and I might be able to keep up with the boss. :D

This was the boat that sold me on my Current Designs Gulfstream; Derek Hutchinson designed (AFAIK) English Channel/North Sea style: drop down skeg, lotsa waterline for the OAL of the boat, day hatch....I have what is basically the Canadian made version of that boat. Love it, had it for prolly 20 years now. Wish I could get out and use it for it's intended purpose.....but that's life. If (when) you're headed in this direction, check out the MITA, "The Maine Island Trail is a water trail spanning over 200 islands and coastal sites along the 375 miles of the coast of Maine." Starts pretty close to my house.

Better to have a super soaker and not need it than need a super soaker and not have it.

These are pearls, people. Pearls. Wise words to live by, G$♥.

Same size basically, but a very different knife. Not better, but more capable at some tasks; feels more substantial. I really like mine. Gets and stays pretty sharp, comfy to work with....Sheath is a little clunky, IMO, but overall a very worthy companion to a 9 (especially if you've got big mittens, not that I do, but I've heard......*DUBZ*......from people. My 2¢ review. With salt.

Man, what a dinner my wife cooked: hamburger steak with onion and gravy, mashed potatoes, fried okra, fried green tomatoes, boiled squash, corn on the cob. Topped it all off with a bite or two of fudge I got at the Russell Stover store in Sevierville yesterday. Soul satisfying.

All of that sounds great.....Fried okra really stands out though, been a while since i had some good fried okra.

I had some fudge tonight as well though. I only had a bite or two also.... But i had a bite or 2 of about 6 different kinds LMAO.... My favorite is the half and half peanut butter fudge... But im crazy for peanut butter anyways.

Somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico...

Sounds about right, at least he knows where his lips belong.

Do Beckerheads still watch that guy?......:D

No comment other than to say thanks Ray, but I'm not going out of my way since "the episode."

Just picked up one a few weeks ago with the black and green G-10.
A sweet knife indeed. Very comfortable handle and beefy blade. Scary sharp factory edge.
Haven't found time to beat on it yet, but it seems like a keeper.

You two likely just sold a knife for Tops. Thanks. I think.
