I'm kinda ashamed to Admitt but I still watch some of his videos, I like some of the smaller outdoor gadgets like ferro rods that he does reviews on, don't get me wrong I think he's entitled to absolutely nothing and he really needs to learn that he is not gods gift to the earth, and for the most part hes a huge jackwagon, but on a very rare occasion he puts out a video that I semi-enjoy, plus the William Meyers guy is pretty cool

Trust me, you do NOT want the knives I would send to him... MTech and Frost and United cutlery... Although I'm sure he could sell MILLIONS of those knives for them.

You must have me mistaken, i wouldnt turn down free butter knives. Mtech, Frost, United cutlery.... I dont care anything about names. They would get used or destroyed trying to be used. Either way it would be fun for me. Could make for some interesting Drunk guy with knives videos LOL... I can see it now, "awe hell this knife aint $h!t" as it breaks in half and i grab another out the box to beat on LOL

Nevermind.... Don't want to bad mouth somebody's income.

Thank GOD!!
Unsubscribed as of about 3 weeks ago. Good riddance.

If I was more invested I would watch. Just hoping on the off chance "Jessica" gets hungry... That is what he calls that blade right? Hell my ex was named Jessica. SHE was a cold hearted (...) that usually would get hungry and want to chomp on me!

Spike nothing to be ashamed of. Honest it isn't. Different strokes for different folks man. I just take issue with him which is my fault not his.

I have a problem with any body asking for free stuff, I don't care if it's some one I've never met, friends, or even if it's just me, guess its just the way I was raised, it one thing thing if he was asking to review a knife then send it back to the manufacturer when he was done, or even do some kind of giveaway with it,but he doesn't, and for the most part I don't watch his videos

The only problem I have is that people can't get an honest review when they're pimping knives for a company.
That goes for ALL YT "knife reviewers".
You can't tell me you're giving an honest review of the knife when you didn't throw down hard earned money for it.
It's easier to say, " This is a great knife!", when the company gives it to you for free. When in all actuality it's a piece...
My opinion only of course.

YT "full-time knife reviewers" do more harm than good when "reviewing" knives. In my opinion. Borderline despicable.

And don't get me wrong...
There are some decent reviews out there.
Some guys just rub me the wrong way.
PM 101 is one of them. I don't think he's sincere.
I think he's all about that dolla-dolla bill y'all.

Dubz, you sir are an asshole! You got me looking at making a li'l cabin. I found a little design I actually like. It looks like it wouldn't be to hard to add on a little sq footage to make a garden with either

Went to fridge to get some milk and I looked at the carton, it said it expires the 9th so I pour a glass and start to drink, chugg the first half when something smells funny, that's when the taste hit, not very many things can make me throw up but that almost did the trick :barf:

About a month ago I grabbed a bottle of chocolate milk at the gas station and didn't realize it until several blocks later that it had recently gone sour. Put the cap back on and put it in the trash bag in my truck intending to throw it out when I got home. Well I forgot. For probably a week. In the summer. The smell wasn't overpowering but I would occasionally get a whiff of something nasty and wasn't sure what it was until I stopped for gas and grabbed all the garbage out of the cab while the pump was running. Finally got a whiff of it up close...milk was a bad choice.

Maybe we should all chip in to send PreparedMind some free knives...

Ya know, I have a YT channel...

plus the William Meyers guy is pretty cool

Will has his own channel, though he doesn't bring anything new or different to the table. Still good info though.

Same here. Some of those cheap knives can surprise you. Not often though.

The only YouTube reviewers I watch anymore are equip2endure and cutlerylover

Love those guys. I have a couple others I watch too but those two seem to put out the best content.

I think he's sincere in the reviews, he just seems to lack humility or seems to think he's owed something from knife makers out there. But who cares about some YT channel anyways? Certainly we have more interesting things to discuss.

I think this weekend I'm gonna try to get back up the mountain and try to do some more comparison videos. I've been wanting to show off the BK2, 10, Ontario SP46, and the Condor Rodan. I also have both versions of the CS bushman plus the Condor Matagi so I think that would make for an interesting shootout. I have some small fixed blades that could make for a good video and maybe one about folding knives for the outdoors.

I have to admit, I subbed his channel and I actually liked some of his reviews. I thought he was a bit of a dweeb, and a total narcissist (really? Name your knives after women who impacted you and they aren't your wife? Holy $%^&, who the $%^& does that sort of shite?) but when he wasn't putting me to sleep, some info he put out was tolerable. However, after "the episode" I was able to see him for what he really is, an ego centric gear whore and salesman. Of course he got unsubbed after that.

And yeah, he keeps all that shite for himself.

All of that sounds great.....Fried okra really stands out though, been a while since i had some good fried okra.

We plant okra in our gardens because my wife and her Mom really enjoy it, and it's really easy to grow/store a lot of it. Ang has cooked it for me every way she knows how, and I tried to like it, I really did, because I'm told it has lots of vitamins and fiber.... But bleeecch :barf: . You can have my share.

Oh Lordy....

That looks heavenly. I like the way you kept things separate so the veggies don't get burnt or turn to mush  Kabobs look cool when they're all together on one skewer but I have no idea how to cook them evenly that way.

In other news, over the next few days it's gonna be like Christmas at the Terrio Compound... got Ang's hammock, a cast iron dutch oven and some other fun stuff coming in for next weekend's camping trip. Bought our fishing licenses online last night.

Quick. Cover up. Your inner Yankee is exposed. :D

About the only way I like okra is in gumbo. Fried okra has the "potential" to be good, but I've only actually had good tasting fried okra in one restaurant (Green's Sausage House, Zabcikville, TX)...everywhere else it's sort of tough and chewy. Green's okra actually melts in your mouth. Their regular onion rings are terrible though (made from minced onion); beer battered rings are slices of onion, and are good.

 You are correct! I do mine on seperate skewers as well.
