We got about an inch of snow and then it melted off. Dang it, Colorado. I moved here for snow! Why you gotta be like this?

I don't mind the no snow. I'm not exactly in the best shape to shovel it this year :( It can rain it all away here!
 
I'm thinking I need a bird and trout knife. Something small and slicey. With a tweener handle. Someone needs to tell Ethan to get on it...
 
Checking in every now and again on manufactures websites seeing what is being released at shot show. Some very nice designs coming out this year. I totally don't _need_ a new knife, but there are a few really nice ones I wouldn't mind :D

Got our first major rain of the winter today, on my way home from fencing class I drove through all the usual flood zones in the valley and managed to find quite a few major puddles and a few small lakes, at 10pm there's not many cars around a warehouse district so I had some fun splashing around. Had one road that was covered completely, 2 feet of standing water is a bit much so I had to take it easy through that bit.

I'm sure the PD would disapprove of my actions, but I know the area and my car's limits and splashing deep puddles in a car is too much fun to pass up all the time. :)

I'm off to explain to the wife why exactly we need a Ka-Bar Jarosz Choppa on the baby registry as well as why and how we will attach it to the side of the stroller or the baby carrier. She did get me a state park annual pass for Christmas after-all. It'll get some use.

Easy peasy.

Typical Alabama weather here. Freezing one week and 75 degrees the next! It's ok I have fresh doe dehydrating this evening. Approximately one hour in.
