  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Looks like a spicy batch! I'm going to have to pick up a dehydrator one of these days and give that a shot.

I had some crock pot deer tacos for lunch today, and they turned out pretty good. I didn't know how the front shoulder meat was going to cook down, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was just as tender as a beef roast, but tastier.

Yes! I'll usually do a roast out of one of the rear haunches. Either that or slice down into jerky. Almost always I end up blowing away part of one of the front shoulders!

Good to see you around bravo! We've missed you in the other forum

condor debuted a viking pattern sword and a pair of "viking" hawks at SHOT today.
could be tempting -- but I'll probably just keep telling myself the handle on the sword is too short and save my ducats for a tempering oven or a new handgun.
