Busted..:D

I thought the Eldris was going to be gimmicky, but wound up loving it. The Kansbol is just badass.

i got me 2 or 3 of the green older style Mora 2000 and one of the matching boron axes some decades ago? love them.

just recently scored two GLOWING orange Mora 2000s. good times.

am wanting to checkout the Kansbol with the Molle sheath system. that would be cool.

the Eldris for sure, is a great knife. as above, definitely want to get the official neck cord system for it. looks solid.

Picked these two up at a local thrift store. Three bucks for the two of them:

This one had a bunch of copyright dates. Shows the original dates, then under that previous printings from Sept 1962, to Oct 1972

Cool. I need to tell the wifey to look out for a joy of cooking book. She's always perusing the second hand stores.

Hoarfrost out in full effect today:

I can't believe how dead this forum is compared to the old days.

I'm hit or miss of ever making much of a real contribution here, but I agree, used to have a lot more traffic. Seems as many forums are very slow.

Hey fellas, I went to a gun show yesterday and met a guy who runs a buy-and-sell knife shop in Orlando, and he's selling a bnib Camillus 2 at a very reasonable price. Anyone interested shoot me a pm.

We had a reprieve from the wet stuff yesterday, but it's back today, non-stop. The shop will be a mess tomorrow with that leaky roof. Flash flood warnings all around, I have been window shopping for a new rain jacket. It is gonna be an oilskin though.

Well, no rain here today, but very high winds (35-40mph). Tomorrow, I get to replace a couple of wind turbines on the roof. On one, the hub gave way and the turbine ended up out in the field south of the house and the other has jammed to a stop and canted over at about a 30 degree angle. That's the 2 newest ones, both made within the last 8 years. The oldest one was put in about 1983, when my grandmother had the old asphalt shingles replaced with a steel roof and decided to have a wind turbine installed. That makes it 33+ years old and still going strong. The 2 new ones - one was added 8 years ago when we added an extension onto the house and the other one was installed over the hole left when the old gas stove chimney was removed. New stuff is obviously more cheaply made with failure built in.
