the reviews say "heads are okay, the handles often are not"

you can't go wrong, usually with GB, or Wetterling, (the guys that supply to Husky), ...

The Husqvarna synthetic forest axe is a beast - steel is soft, but field sharpens good. 4 lb head. good geometry. blows through trees.

the ultimate beyond that is some older 40-60s steel, esp from WB
 
Went kayak fishing yesterday... Tipped the kayak over soon as i put in about 645am... Water Over my head... Windy... Cold... 55 degrees was cold then... Still fished till 330...


But had to buy a new phone this morning.

I got an LG X power phone... It was one of the cheapest options with the promotion.. It's simple... Not high definition... But the battery last forever. I like it.


Have someone coming out to check our central air/heat unit 2Moro... It stopped blowin air last night... Parts and compressor are covered by warranty... Not labor though... 100 bucks just to tell us how much it will cost to fix it. FML... Always something.

I do like the idea of 40-60s.
 
House handle in Cassville Missouri makes some darn fine axe handles. I've been to their plant/facility's, great people and great products. Also made in the great state of Missouri.

in regards to axes, I've put my MIL on a mission to find me an older boys axe head. She goes to a lot of estate sales in town. Fingers crossed she finds something neat one of these days :D

Went to see the surgeon the other day. Got some interesting news. They actually reversed their diagnosis. So instead of my pectoral being ruptured and my bicep tendons being off, its actually my bicep is torn to hell and my pectoral muscle is almost completely detached at the tendon.

There is one specialist for this kind of injury in our Province that works down town. I have been referred to him and am waiting for a call for an appointment. :thumbup:
 
At least you're making progress through the system, TBL.

Is "this" diagnosis better than the first one, or are they both just as bad, with respect to fixing?
 
Have you tried duct tape TBL? Because that's the first thing to try. Then hot sauce, followed by whiskey.
 
Yep, the system is working on this one lol.

They both suck in their own way. Both would have me off work for at least another month or two (possibly 3 with surgery's). the pectoral surgery only one surgeon can do if he decides to do it. the bicep could of been fixed anywhere. both have pretty long recoveries, however if no surgery is done for my pectoral tendon: the natural healing time is as long as it takes.

The miraculous cure has been passed down by the mighty tradwater! If you don't hear from me for the rest of the day I'll be in my garage may be passed out!


Oh hey, great idea. I got a 15, Ill like self open it up and duct tap it to the bone!! after drinking the wiskey, while using the hot sauce as steriliser!
 
If Crystal was the only hot sauce I could ever have, I would be okay with that.
