Merry Christmas fellas.

Misti and I did Christmas last night beings I'm working tonight. Apparently she has been paying attention to my likes and comments on Facebook. She ended up getting me my first AA Forge knife! I totally didn't expect it. It's a bird and trout style knife IN 52100. I've got to say his work is NICE! Now I have the itch to pick up another one of his knives. I'll have to snap a pic when I get off of work.
 
I got flashed today.

I accidentally broke my auto-darkening welding hood filter lense.
Man, :crushed: I liked that hood. So, I broke out my back up manual hood, then I proceeded to strip the headband screw on that one in the first three minutes. :mad:
It held on, but only just, through the rest of my short work day. :chargrined: Come Monday I'll be relying on the No. 3 alternate... woo... hoo... :cool:
 
Merry Christmas everyone. I've been laying in bed for 40 minutes waiting for my daughter to get up and be the "first" to see the gifts from Santa....i'd be on my second cup of coffee by now :) I hope you all have great days.

Kids opened presents hours ago... Then had waffle sundays (Xmas tradition for us) and now i finally get a moment to sit down.


Sons favorite gifts was a new bb/pellet gun and PS4... My daughter got a cell phone and went retarded... No other present even mattered at that point lol. I was kind of against giving our 10 year old a cell phone... But i caved in... I'll regret it later I'm sure.

Going to a Xmas party in a couple hours... I'd rather just relax today... Not going to happen...



Watched War Dogs last night. I liked it! Based on true story... But I'm guessing its very loosely based on actual events.. Still it was enjoyable. For me.
 
Blizzard warning from noon today until noon tomorrow. 12-18" of snow with winds up to 50mph, preceded by freezing drizzle. I believe I'll be taking the night off.
