They're, er, uh, I mean It's here  and we have a winner!

All I can say is, I am glad I ordered one :D

This will definitely become a favorite all around user for many years to come. I really like the looks of this knife, although it is bigger than I had imagined. The new handle looks incredible and feels even better in the hand.

Thanks to all at BC and BCS for "Bringin' It" :D :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Another comparison snapshot:

Ken,
How cool, you got amazing fast shipping and the same number Sar4LE as the HG55:thumbup: I love it when things work out :thumbup::thumbup: Way to go Hog

Got #21 and she rocks. The most solid pound for pound knife I have ever held. I am not Lund with photography, so my shots don't really show the color well. Their are some nice greens in my handle that I like.

The first is a comparison shot with a BAD, Skinny ASH, ASH-1 LE, NMSFNO, and NMFBM

The second is a comparison with the ASH-1 LE

The third is the SAR4 sittin pretty on the NMFBM

Thanks for most of my knives from fellas and a lady here on the exchange. The SAR4 and NMSFNO are the only purchases made through BCS.

Skunk,
I know, I ordered within a couple minutes Monday night and still nothing    Fortunately I know she's on the way  Plus, the check is in the mail  ;)

A few more notes....

The grip is great on this knife. It does not seem nearly as abrasive as my NMSFNO, yet still fills the hand.

The thumb notches are not too sharp, but will serve as nice grip for carving or firestriking.

Oh ya, it is very very sharp.

The tip is interesting as it is not very pointy, yet should still puncture efficiently. I wonder if that is from the convex edge? Any ideas or info on this would be appreciated.

For all you that bought one, you'll like it.

Hey Mike, if you ever desire to get rid of 21, let me know. That's my number. Or maybe you'd be interested in trading for another number...

I stand corrected a knock my door has put a SAR4 in my hand! pics to come later. In short.....extremely comfortable and what a great design! What a handle!

Skunk, can you or another Mod move my posts over here from the other SAR4 thread? Thanks, I did n't see this one being so excited that mine is in hand NOW!

well, i would but i'm not a mod, you see i'm not trusted with the keys to drive this forum. although i am prolly the most sane person here. so i think you should just copy and paste them over here.
and remember

VOTE SKUNK FOR SUPER MOD!!!

I hope that mine will be waiting when I get home. Just in time to take turkey hunting on Saturday.

"One of my SAR4's JUST showed up at the door.......I had to tell my mailman to backoff while I opened the box 'lest the Beast take us both down! Jerry, this IS THE Shichtz!!! What a monster knife! It holds MUCH larger than the SAR5 does, I can actually tell it's heavier and WOW! just look at her, #62 is a BEAUTY just like Lunde's!!! Even my mailman wanted to hold her, so I told him be gentle she was just born! He remarked that this is one Hell of a knife, I can't see you needing more than that in the woods Gene. He's right, this SAR4 will be the knife to be reckoned with from here on out for outdoorsmen. This knife just made INFI history!!

Oh, and it's MUCH nicer in person than photos let on IME. I think the 'gimping/holes' on the spine are just fine, not as large as they appear in photos folks. Not as sharp/rough looking either! The scales fit so nice in hand you have to hold it to believe it! This knife Screams USE ME! Out to the woodpile with you #62!!

Now the girlfriend is asking too many questions about INFI, and why I need to have more than one of these. She never caught on to my first 10 purchases, but alas, she now sees what I've been hiding from her. Last night she said, "Maybe I should keep one of these knives, after all it's my CC" WHAT!?! I can't live in the same house with a woman who wants my INFI.....Especially if she thinks she's going to start nosing up to the trough with me every time I want to buy....I don't need more competition!!

If you have'nt bought one, go down to the corner and sell your Soul for this knife...I doubt you'll regret doing so, it's THAT NICE A KNIFE! And the sheath by Mashed Cat is Excellent as always too.

This thing will work great even with winter gloves on, which makes this knife the INFI MountainMan model! A knife that Grizzley Adams hisself would'a carried! "!

Help! I can't stop touching mine:foot: I'm afraid it's going to bite me any minute now:eek: The edge a', she's a', so sharp a' I'm a' going to hav'a take her out to the woodpile after I cut my salami:D:thumbup:

Perfection in hand I tell you, the finish on this knife is almost custom like:eek: This is the first knife I've ever held that say,"I don't care where I am, as long as THIS knife is on my belt!" If I got dropped off by Helo in the middle of nowhere I guarrantee that I would being walking out of there in just as fine shape:thumbup: The SAR guys are going to LOVE this knife, it's all about COMING HOME AFTER THE MISSION IS COMPLETE:thumbup:

This may be the first night I say, "not tonight dear, busy fondling my INFI":foot:

No - seriously, 1Tracker, tell us how you REALLY feel about the SAR-4...
(OK, I'm just being jealous because mine isn't here yet)

Oh come on now, somebody's mail person had to have shown up by now...

Don't count on pics from me. It could get here today. Or it could be three weeks from now. Unfortunately, one of the problems with being here is that mail is about as unpredictable as it can be. It's especially bad right now with Mt. Redoubt belching every now and again.

Make no doubt about it though, I'll post pics here just as soon as I can.
