Oinkficial "How My SAR-4 Looks And Feels IN Real Life" Thread.

Please ask me:D I can't express myself as I'm now at a loss for words:foot: Ok, you force me to...This is an almost custom quality knife, just look at the spine on this knife radiused so smoothly it's sexy I tell ya:p The Full Height Grind with Convex Edge makes the edge look like it goes to Infinity when you glance down the side of the blade:eek: Touch the perfect scales, comfortable in every way you hold it. Flawlessly finished!! I actually blew off a few hours of my day now just fondling #62:D Who cares if the rose bushes need pruning, the shed needs cleaning, cows need hay, the yard stuff needs to be out, chickens need water, the grill needs cleaning:eek:, the hammock isn't up yet:eek:...ok maybe the last two things I should get done:D Before SHE gets home!

Yeah, but the first use with a new knife should always draw some blood. I'll have a BBQ tonight and get the neighbors over....here chicky, here chicky...Cluck, CLUCKKKKKKKK!

I wonder if the need for a talon hole makes the Busse folder a shoe-in for a flipper?

Well since it doesn't look like the Scotch dispenser is going to work for a folder, maybe the SAR4 will!!! I'll have to take a hard look at it when it arrives today..........................

.

See here. I posted up a quick set of impressions with pics.

I'm not one to use such dramatic license as 1Tracker (errr, yeah I know thats a lie LOL) but I have to agree this knife has me chuckling to myself.

I cant put this one down. It's almost indescribable how it feels in the hand. I've held a lot of handles over the years and this is without a doubt my favorite...such a simple curve yet so right on the money. Also love the wide blade and high tip.

Honestly I 'thought' I was in love with HG55....I was wrong, I want another SAR4 :D

See?:D Dark Nemisis, I knew I could pull you into the INFI vortex or re-ordering along with me:eek: This is THE KNIFE for outdoor folks BAR NONE! If you were a Big Game hunter THIS is your knife:thumbup:! If you live beyond city lights, THIS is your knife:thumbup:! If all hell breaks loose and you need to bug out, THIS is your knife:thumbup:! If you ever wanted to break up with your girlfriend over spending money you don't have on a knife, THIS is YOUR knife:D:thumbup:! Why wait? they'll be gone soon, and we all know the saying...

NO REGRETS! and THANK YOU JERRY, AMY-O, And the Busse Crew for getting these made:thumbup: And for Skunk Nuking' em to our homes:thumbup:

the under curve of the sar handle fit the curve of vicki's better part just right. OMG! i can't believe i said that!!!

i'm sitting here right now running my thumb along her upper bumps, what a feeling, she's a sweet one that's for sure!

i might have to pick up another one!

Oh:eek: for a minute there I thought you were referring to Vicki:p

Yeah, nice smooth curve under the handle, this one's definitely artwork in the hand:thumbup: If folks don't get in on this one don't go looking at the exchange because only dead men give up THIS kind of INFI:foot:

BUY! BUY! BUY!

I can't stop posting and fondling long enough for pics Skunk! Although in an hour I'm going to take one of my chickens out for a one way trip to the woodshed! #62 is tasting blood tonight!

O.K. I put it down long enough to take a crap pic. I don't know how, but somehow I ended up with #3. :D

Thanxx again, Scott & Vicki! You guys ROCK.

EDIT: I gotta throw in a plug for Grandsuave... I got a Mashed Cat kydex SAR4 sheath for #27. I don't usually buy kydex for satin finished Busse knives, but I knew from the very first image that the SAR4 screams "USE ME"... So I did for this one, and WOW!! Nice fitting sheath! Thanxx, Eric!!!

WOW, Sar-4 LE just arrived. What a sexy knife! First off, the SAR-4 has beautiful sleek lines, and the pattern on the scales looks like jet blast. If this were a car, it would be a F1. Fit and finish are perfect and the melt job gives it a smooth feel. To me, the most obvious comparison would be to the BATAC. (Since I don’t own any of the older Sar’s). My standard BATAC weights 12.2 ounces. The SAR-4 comes in at 13.9 and the fatty BATAC is 15.4. I think I prefer the integrated thumb ramp of the BATAC, but the machined thumb notches look totally cool and are effective. Looks to be a great do-everything knife and love that convex edge. I cut some nylon webbing and it when through it like butter. So much for my seat belt cutter. Looks like Jerry’s done it again! Thanks

Jaxx I probably threw back a sub #10 for #62 because I wanted the year I was born on my SAR4 because I'll never sell this knife. Glad I did!
