Ok all you EDC folks

If you think George Jefferson carried a lot of stuff, imagine what was in Weezy's purse.

Horn Dog, you might be ugly as sin, older than dirt and a little smelly, but I must admit you make me laugh on a regular basis. :D

Great link, thanks.

Not much has changed between his knife and current models Victorinox makes. I'd really like to know the history of that knife, who made it, etc..I think Wenger and Victorinox came into being in the 1800's..

Really makes you wonder how we ever became a country without tactical pants, doesn't it? I wonder if all cool operators shaved their heads back then and had a goatee?

have you ever seen pictures of native americans?:D

im proud of myself now, finally figured out how to quote people

I know wrist watches came quite awhile later, but didn't they have pocket watches back then?Seems illogical to lug around that big clock.

That's a great picture. I guess I'm not the only guy who carries a Swiss Army Knife. I've got to think he carried some sort of satchel for all that stuff. Daypacks and messenger bags probably weren't considered the stuff back then.

wait, i think ive figured out the evolution that lead to todays mall-ninja

you see. early pioneers were getting trouble from local indians. so a hand picked elite group decided to act like the natives, and they shaved there heads and worked in the dirt and grime to get similar skin to the indiginous people. that way, they could pass as another indian and try to make peace on the tribe, or use it as camoflague for a surprise attack. sadly, one day a rather queer little soldier decided it would be easier to get dark skin by going to tan at a beauty salon:eek:, and things have been heading downhill ever since. :D:jerkit:

He and Ethan were brothers, right?

No, they just went to the same school. They look alike, mostly because there wasn't that much genetic diversity back then, in the good 'ol days.:foot::D

E's gonna kill me.

I wear cargo pants everyday and still think I dont have enuff room for all my crap! I can only imagine how stuffed they had their pockets back in the day! :)

Indiana Jones wore one!

Looks like maybe T-Jeff did tote the Glock of his time and it was once included in the display but later removed to make for kinder, gentler EDC: http://www.themodernsurvivalist.com/?p=1020

Oh yeah, T Jefe did tote a smoke wagon. Alot of our Mr. Presidents did, not really publicized though. I'm trying to remember the President that had that huge block of cheese in the lobby of the White House, it was to show no American could go hungry. Strange, but cool none the less.

Most guys back then had something called a horse. I imagine the EDC was more on the horse than a guys pockets. Field desks aren't used so much today, laptops have replaced the need for the horse.
Jefferson is the father of Archaology, as well as many others.

From what I have read, he toted a removable barrel, black powder .32cal heater. I guess when you make it to the Oval Office now adays, they won't let you carry a gun, since everyone you see within a rooms distance is armed to the teeth.

LMAO! Damn that was a good one Moose. That's too bad they took his pistol off display, that would of been really cool to see!
