Hello Folks,

I think that # 2 is getting the Most Votes so far.

We are going to be Re-designing the Handle Assembly into a 2 piece intregal Guard-handle-in-one type of Construction, instead of the 3 piece Contruction Currently
Used.

This will still be of a Compression bonded
nature, using Industrial Bonding procedures
and materials. This has proven to be the strongest method available for this Knife series.

We have also incorporated a Reverse Tapered Tang Morised into the handle to alleviate any concerns of Pulling the Blade out of the handle under Pressure (as if you could anyway)!!!!

These Changes are being made to further Alliviate any Claims that i am Trying to
"COPY" anyone elses Designs or Construction methods, or the materials used therin.

I am just a young Guy Trying to Make a name for M.E.U.K Knives as there own Entity, heck i am not even a knifemaker, but i do know what i want in a knife!

Boy i wonder what everyone would have Done if Bob Loveless complained about others making the Dropped Point as he Precived it!!

Or Bill Moran Complaining About Other makers
Learning to make Damascus after he Re invented it in the Americas so long ago.

To me i think if this would have happened, todays love for Knives would have been Forever harmed and polluted.

Thanks Again for your input,

First off I would like to say thank you to stray and Ewok. Not all environmentalists are extremists. Extemists just get the most attention in this country. We all breath the same air and drink the same water. That's a fact jack.

As for the issue at hand--I would go with #2 and say forget the hyphen. Companies often name themselves and their products with words that are nonstandard. It is virtually impossible to trademark a product with a generic name. Is Xerox a word? or Kleenex? They are now. This situation is somewhat different, but not a lot. Name it whatever you want Kris. The important thing is that you are happy with your product and your company, and that you make the best product you can.

Also, how many knives out there are truly, 100% original? Not many. Look at a Microtech L-UDT next to a Ochs Black Knife. The venerable Ka-Bar next to a Marbles. A Buck 110 next to a hundred other knives out there. All of the situations mentioned are similar. Which of the knives are better? Depends on who you ask, and what the task at hand is. How many knives have Kraton handles? Who did it first? Does it matter to most people? Once upon a time some guy invented steel and found it made a pretty good blade. It's a damn good thing he didn't expect to be the only person to use his new proprietary wonder material. We'd all be collecting and using bronze or obsidian blades.

I feel better now.
