What's up with the tennis-ball holder butt end of this thing? Is it just a nice design that keeps your hand from slipping off eventually or is there a practical purpose to it?

Inquiring minds wanna know.

Thanks!

Maybe one of them LED light-up balls they sell at parades, fireworks shows and New Years Eve.

Looks like it's just you and me here today, J. LOL

It's to be able to pull it apart, after you connect your waki with skeletor's sword to form the sword of grayskull :D

I sent Eric an email asking if I could place an order specifying that the pommel be cut off and shaped to the handle -- I like the Waki except for having that crescent moon/horns pointed back at my belly. I haven't received a reply yet -- I suppose that I could just grind it off myself, but I've never paid that much for a knife to chop on instead of chopping with.

I'm pretty sure it's for leaving a distinct mark on people's foreheads. It will replace the pimp slap and let other Waki owners know that you were there.

I requested they send mine,, uncoated with the slabs off,, told them it would be easier to Platinum Plus,,

Eric said there was a purpose and that it would be clear when other designs of the line start coming out but that is all he would say

Yep.

You've heard of the famous Busse "Holy Terror?" Well, I think this is where the "Rodent Terror" will go.

Can't keep a good Rodent down.

I like the crescent (half ?) moon design, but considering how short the blade is, I think I would have preferred an extra inch or two of blade and a shorter handle design.
