humm? a spike like double edged dagger you can attach and detach, you know, for that all important looks like an overhead chop, fooled you, smack with the pommel trick.

Is it just me or is that part of the sword looking better as my anticipation for my Waki grows?
 
well you could lash a monkey's fist into the cresent for a little balance or defense. now think how badass a pomel smash would be with a large hardwood or acrilic ball in a monkey's fist. you could customize the weight to your liking. if the opening is big enough you could also lash a small round tin like altoid's in the cresent. instant survival kit, matches, fishing line, etc.
 
I love the horns on this thing .. it's one of the features that makes me like it more than the AK
