Hi Rick,

From its original concept, the Militry was our original "mule". The knife was designed to be a user, not a colllection piece. The different steels and handle materials are a good way to test on a user model.

We are certainly going to make different variations of the military in our Golden plant. New steels, handle, etc.

The TiMil is currently in pilot.

So the titanium model is going to have the Reeve Integral Lock....right?

In pilot??? That means it's hitting shelves soon? Oh nooooooo... just when I thought my wallet was safe. I salivate at the idea of a Ti Milly!

The "TiMiL" is a Reeve integral lock. (TiMiL RIL)

There is a design for a TiMiL Compression Lock (TiMiL CL) "in-the-works" as well, but still on the drawing board.

TiMil, you said Spyderco may make two locks for it a RIL and a CL, So is the Ti refering to the handle material or blade and if not blade what blade steel are you looking at for these two versions of the Military?
