OK! Sal Question of the Day!!!!

Spyderco's are designed and built to be used. Eric and i work very hard at that. The spirit and value of the design is found in using our products. Just looking at them doesn't do it.

Looking at a Ferrari is not the same as going 0-60 in 4 seconds.

Gail is wiser and drives a Porsche:D

Any chance of seeing you guys in the UK sometime this year Sal?

Hi Sverre,

No plans at this time. We are already scheduled to travel through June. We had originally hoped to hop over there in the summer, but things are still up in the air.

This run is just Titanium scales. Simple.

We've not done a lot of titanium scales, but we planning on doing more.

I've been carrying a Titanium UKPK which is nice. We've got a short run of Titanium Catbyrds coming. The Leafstorm is half Titanium, The Sage RIL is Ti.

The problem with Titanium is that it is expensive to purchase and to machine, so the costs of knives with Ti is expensive, which is a very small market.

When? When? When? I must know when they are being released so I can get one of the Mili and two of the Catbyrd!

No worries Sal, as long as we get time to book plane tickets a Norwegian or two will show up:D

Fall is better since I'll be sailing or hiking most of the summer.

Is there a time frame on the release of the Sage II RIL? Losing sleep over thinking about this one. Seriously....

A sprint run means they make a batch and then that's the end of it. A limited run means they make the knives until they decide to discontinue it, but in far fewer number (due to complexity or demand, such as the D4 FFG G10 and Stretch 2 CF) than usual production models (like the regular Endura and Delica)

Hey Santa, er Sal, while we're talking about TiRILs and TiCLs, how soon before I can fondle a Tuff in person? (I apologize that this is arguably off topic, but...) :)
