Ok, take the Hinderer(s) out of your "pocket" and show them.

I really love the FXM...the sheath is perfection IMO...very snug but not hard to draw, pretty much perfect. Mines a good few years old and I'm the third owner, so I know it got some break in time, but the blade had never been used, or atleast not that I can tell with the WF...its flawless, factory edge. All I can say is, hand ground slicer grind is growing on me in a major way...you would never believe the edge could be thin with ablade spine so thick. I friggin love it! Ill have to actually give it some "pocket" time. My wharnie has been stealing ALL the light lately.

Yup sure did Joe. It carried amazingly well. I am not a fixed blade guy by nature. I have always been infatuated with folders and have just finally started coming around to the fixed blades. I love my fieldtac. It's great in the woods but can't really be carried as an edc knife. The FXM on the other hand can! It is a fixed blade xm after all. It's the perfect size fixed blade in my opinion. Very beefy and solid but still light enough to forget your carrying it. It's a very useful size. The sheath is perfection also. It holds the knife very securely but it poppes right out really easily when needed. The pervious owner of mine must have taken some time to break in the sheath because it draws easy as can be. My previous FXM sheath was much tighter on the draw and it took more effort. In not saying it was a bad thing but just different. I am really happy with the whole package. Very cool knife. Im surprised that they aren't more in demand.

Great representation of Hinderers, as said before that Fieldtac is a beast! Like Paul Hogan would say, "Now that's a knife" (movie crocodile Dundee).
 
I hope that when I have it on me one day I'll be able to say that to someone. "That's not a knife. THIS is a knife!"
 
I think we are way overdue for another knife movie. Not some BS with Mall Ninja stuff but a real custom knife movie starring the Rick Hinderer Fieldtac !
 
Jensen - I LOVE all the WF on that fieldtac...unbeatable...a WF fieldtac. some smooth cf would suite that fieldtac quite well! ;)

Dude...that Ti scale on the Wharnie is sick! I might just pull this trigger on the smooth Ti scale as well. I'd love a sandblasted one to compliment this!

Rolling over to the flashlight thread now to see if you posted any thoughts re the copper LL. I had one but gave it up since it didn't quite fit all my druthers..
 
Thanks shane. I'll need to edc it for a few weeks before I can post any real thoughts. So far I really like the size, output, fit and finish. I'm really liking the new copper bead. Very ergonomic.
 
Wow! That's a sweet setup Jensen!! Copper is badass! I work with copper almost everyday... hence being an electrician :)
