I tend to carry my XM in my right pocket and everything else in other pockets but I could imagine that having a light in the same pocket as a the Umnum/ti pivot would make some scratches:)

Very nice indeed Jensen, great pics too by the way. The ol' black shirt backdrop technique...very nice. The smooth SW scale is just plain classy. Cant wait till mine comes in! Now if I could only figure out what knife to put it on.
 
Thanks guys. The all stonewashed ti wharnie is getting alot of pocket time lately. It's just a great edc knife. I think that smooth stonewashed scale in combo with all of the brass goodies is my favorite setup ever on an xm. I just love it, its very industrial looking and tough as nails. Jason I'd try it on them all once its there and you will know immediately. I'm thinking your production wharnie is the best bet but we will see! Playing dress up with knives is fun isn't it!? I'm sure that you will really like the smooth ti scale. Im going to carry my FXM tomorrow and I'm excited about it. Have you carried yours yet?

Not yet bro. I wanna reconfigure the clip for horizontal carry in the small of my back above the buttox lol. I was playin w it last night and decided that. Isnt is crazy how tight they LOCK right into the sheath?! Did your project sheaths lock up tight like this? I love knowing I could base jump off a cliff and not lose my FXM. Oogling over my FXM as we speak. You were very right about the slicer grind! Very elegant grind, love it. Love the look of grind lines thru the working finish. Awesome.
 
J81 did you wear your FXM today? Did the sheath loosen up for you? I always get a different feeling when I wear one of my sheath knives, in addition to my XM 18.
 
I cannot speak for J...but...I've been carrying mine and the sheath is still nice and snug. I haven't used it very much as holidays are busy in a different way than my normal routine.

I'm going to get a minimalist style sheath made for it...kydex taco or something similar, then pair it with OR replace it (on my person) with a Flashpoint.
 
N2K great to hear it's still snug, I know sometimes like CoolDaddy said they can be very tight but retention overrides all, loss of knife no good. I'm more a fan of the bigger and beefier Fieldtac, got to hold the one Rob posted in Black DLC for NYCKS. I even tried to buy it from the winner but no luck. I think carrying the Fieldtac, FXM or Flashpoint, and an XM 18 in 3.5 with spanto grind would be my ultimate carry option.
