Ok, take the Hinderer(s) out of your "pocket" and show them.

Very nice! I love all the shades of bronze!

Wow! I'm just in awe of those knives guys. Unbelievable. Chemdawg! Your collection is absolutely incredible.

Yes, it's soaking in water here, and it's got some new scratches on it. No, I'm not happy right now. But when something goes very wrong and I need a knife I know I can count on, I'm sure glad to have an XM.

Lone Wolfe your comment " But when something goes very wrong and I need a knife I know I can count on, I'm sure glad to have an XM." is why I own and always carry an XM. That statement sums up what Hinderers are all about in very understandable terms. Those scratches add character, like battle scars (as you know).

Same exact reason for me. Ease of opening in a hurry is also on that list. Today's incident and your comment remind me of a conversation I had with Rob not long ago. We were talking about my large Sebenza collection, mostly beautifully decorated ones. I made the comment that although my Sebs had the lock on beauty, and I have more of them than I'll ever have Hinderers, "You know what's in my pocket".

Yeah scratches, and the anodization is messed up and splotchy now, this knife's got character for sure.

Yes..its nothing for me to carry 7 or 8 on me at any given time! I do wear suspenders though...;)

Ha, I thought pocketing 4 or 5 at a time was enough...now I guess I need to relocate the pen, keys and phone to accommodate a few more.

This has been in my pocket for a year now. It needs a little and big brother.

Yes I can understand that.
When I got the xm-18 I couldn't resist, the stonewash titanium looked like it would take a nice anodize and it does.
I think this could be looked at as a selling point for buyers that want to personalize their knife.
No disrespect meant here.
