Ok, take the Hinderer(s) out of your "pocket" and show them.

Yes I can understand that.
When I got the xm-18 I couldn't resist, the stonewash titanium looked like it would take a nice anodize and it does.
I think this could be looked at as a selling point for buyers that want to personalize their knife.
No disrespect meant here.

Well it's a big no go on the thinking of that type personalizing being a selling-point. Please read the "pimped knives" section of this thread...

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...ty-Service-Sales-Policies-Combating-Knockoffs

And, I too mean no disrespect. It just needs to be said that unofficial modification has negative consequences.

Now that that's been said let me add that these knives are very high quality and a warranty claim is likely a very uncommon occurrence. And if warranties and such mean nothing to "you"; once an item is yours obviously one can do with it whatever one wants.

Thanks for pointing that out I will read the section.

Oh I see,I apologize for the mistake on my part.

Battle-hardened ;) ...she cut thru 4 giant tomato plants, zip ties, bamboo...all kinds of stuff. XMs are some amazing knives, and the more and more you actually USE them and put them to the test, the more and more they pass it! this bronzed out 24 gets the snot kicked out of her almost daily, been my EDC ever since I got it...just give her a good cleaning, you would NEVER even know! :D

lets see em guys, who else is WORKIN their XMs??

Looks like you gave it a workout in the garden cooldaddy, put mine through its paces this summer also. Cuts through tomato stakes, vines, and whatever else gets into its path.

That's about how my 18 looks right now, except the edge is too far gone for my meager skills. :o Sometimes we don't have the tools we need over here and we have to make do.

Going with the earthy fall colors lately... Loving all the copper from Hinderer and my bronze Ti slicer. My first and my favorite Hinderer (Especially with the Pond on it). :D

Way kewl, knife Bannor. Non flipper too. The 3" is such a great size. Just totally hides away in your pocket or in your waistband. My favorite grind too :)

Thanks! I got it recently and it had been my constant companion for about a week now. Fits perfectly in the inner pocket of my jeans!

haha I knew that was comin! I just needed somethin to lean on, seemed right. I got a blue scale inbound, killer deal today! I think Im going to blue this baby out! we'll see. Im starting to miss my tex. CF scale that I carried on my XM 24 EDC for so long. man, I really think its hard to beat the Hinderer tex. CF scale, for looks, weight, and grip. now I just need to get one in 3.5...I think Im converted guys, Im startin to reeaaaallly like the size of the xm-18. plus its an added treat to pull out the 24 again and feel like a tuff guy. ;)

^ Haha I told you that was going to happen. I started out as a 24 diehard but am a 3.5 convert now. I still carry the 4 incher one or twice a week though. Its just too bad ass to sit there and not get used.
