Okay, new question, what are you driving?

i know it's not a car
but i would really love to drive around an m1a1 abrams
m113s and bv206s just aren't as sexy as a freaking abrams
just imagine, perpetual right of way
and oh, anyone going faster than me had better be prepared to drive faster than 1.676 km/s
hehehe

Now THAT is on heckuva a car!! WOW!! I find it interesting that it has a 1.8 liter, 190 HP TOYOTA engine in it.

it also only weighs 2000 lbs.

it gives up over 100HP on my STi but is over 1200 lbs lighter

I recently bought an Alfa Romeo 147, w/1.9L JTD engine, 5 doors. What a great car, a true pleasure to drive.

That is a cool car. Oh, I am sure you can do some impressive things with that engine!! I didn't mean to imply I thought otherwise. I really like that car!!

Oh I know you weren't implying otherwise. It still just impresses me sometimes with that small amount of hp.

Mazda B3000 (2003). Colorado snow covering up the little dings. :D

Oh good!! How did you choose that car!! Although, I can totally understand love at first site!!

PryBry: Congrats on the PowerWagon!!

I've been on race tracks(street cars, race cars, and karts) since I was 15. My dad used to race open wheels with Skip Barder and Russel Racing. last 5 years or so we have just been doing open track events and HPDE events. We started with the SVT Contour I had, then we built his Audi TT, then we picked up a miata and turboed it and built it for the track. We just traded that guy in for the Lotus. We rode in a few of the Lotus's at different events and love them. The damn thing is just RAW! no power steering, 2000 pounds, functional aerodynamics that actually generate downforce instead of lift like normal cars. Its a riot to drive. Sadly we can't drive it for fun yet, still in the breakin procedure. If you don't properly break them in then when they download the data from the ECU at the first service you don't get the warrenty :( so for the first 1000 miles we just put around town putting on miles.

It is NOT a good daily driver. its loud, rough, a bitch to get into and out of, has no storage inside the car(not even a glove box), no cup holder, only a very tiny trunk, almost a complete lack of rear visibility. For a weekend warrior and track/autocross car its a blast!

Wow!! Coool!! That is cool abbout the downforce it generates. I am happy for you!

That was going to be my next question, as to how it did as a daily driver. You answered that. I hope you you enjoy it!!! Thank you so much for the info.

yeah, that is what is nice about the STi... 0-60 in ~4.6s will do almost 150MPH but also carries 4-5 adults has 4 doors, A/C, Cruise, etc...

also loves the rain and snow

it's like the SAK of cars :)
