Okay, new question, what are you driving?

88 chevey `1500 and wife drives a 1979 300TD Mercedes waggon Diesel. Love the diesel. Great fuel millage and is very dependable.

2004 Subaru WRX STi - 4dr, AWD, 300 HP. i still smile every time i get in it after 3+ years ~28k miles

1996 Nissan XE pickup... pretty reliable little utility truck something like 180k miles now (mostly not mine)

only 28k in over 3 years?!?! WTf. I do that in a year, haha.

edit: just noticed the nissan truck, that makes more sense now :)

i don't drive the truck much, but my commute is less than 6 miles round trip, so that helps

the Subie has been to Texas and Kansas a few times a year...

still my '95 corvette LT1 automatic, or my '02 impala if its raining/more than 2 people which rarely happens anymore (more than 2 people, it still occasionally rains in south central TX lol).

325Ci.

Thats the coupe for those of you not 'down' with the bmw lingo.

Dang, most you really like those american cars eh?

Just bought my wife a new black 07 Tahoe. She loves it, the kids love it, I love it. I really like the twin DVD's in the head rest. Now one kiddo can watch Sponge Bob, and the other can watch Looney Toons at the same time.

I still have the 03 HD 4x4. I will keep this one even when I get the new truck bug.

Lately the only thing I'm drivin' lately, is my family crazy.

Sold my bike, so the only thing legal is the '03 Santa Fe, there's lot's to drive, just nuthin' legal,(insured/registered).

Currently, I own a Toyota 85 pickup, rusted out all over, still runs, just turned the tags in. Also have a 94 Blazer I'm pulling parts off of. Neither are street legal.

Which comes to my Blazer. The 94 Blazer has a wealth of interior parts, carpet, headliner, seats, center console, headliner console, dashboard etc). While I'm saving up for that Toyota Tacoma, anything to help my ride.

as you can see by the list below i like 4x4's and a truck isnt a truck without a front axle anyways right ?(preferably locking) and my whole fleet is cheaper than one new one , they dont have all the bells and maybe a few scuffs but i havent had to walk or be rescued in quite a few years and very little maintenance needed but the fuel is another story it would chew up damn near a grand to fill them up other than that im a happy camper

93 ford 2500 ex/c 4x4 7.3td 5speed

I'm driving a 2005 Silverado Crew Cab that I think is great. Relative to its size, I get fair mileage and plenty of room to carry all my toys. I used tibe a Jeep guy and am looking at going back once the four-door Wrangler comes out. If not, I might just buy an older Wrangler or CJ as a toy.

Mazda RX-8 Shinka special edition. Redlines at 9000 RPM, 6-speed manual transmission, really wide gears, 186MPH top speed, seats four comfortably, useable trunk. I LOVE this car!

Richard

car and driver puts the top speed at 150 and that is even pushin it with only ~250hp and ~180 ft-lbs

For over 39 years of marriage, I have been on my wife's case about her habit of running our cars' wheels into curbs, especially the right side front wheels. I keep pointing out to her that this isn't good for the front end alignment and that it cant help the cast aluminum wheels that are now being put on most cars, including both of our current ones. She kept saying that there was nothing that she could do to avoid it, but last week we had a bill for over $1000 to repair the right front of our Ford Focus because the lower control arm and the strut had been bent by some impact, probably with a curb. This finally seems to have gotten her attention and I talked her into getting those whisker things for the right front fender that locate the curb before you hit it. I hope that it helps.

A 1980 VW Vanagon Camper - the 'Brown Beast'. It keeps going, and going, and going.....:)

Mazda got in trouble for claiming the 250 HP and now says that the RX8 only has 232 HP. Top speed is electronically limited to 148.

03 Chevy Trailblazer. 108k miles, drives like it has 10k miles on it.
Thinking I will drive this one into the ground before I get rid of it.

AngryFish- How you like the GTI? My brother drives one and loves it. Took me for a ride in it and it is crazy fast on the acceleration.
