Old Buck Ads

My first knife was a 110... Don't remember the year I got it... Then I got a 422 that I use all the time and I think I got it in 1984... Then I bought a Buck 119, and a Ka-Bar 1189 folder and my Bro gave me a Schrade Old Timer 150T fixed blade... Now I try to buy every Buck knife that I like... ...

OMG! I remember seeing those adds and buying a few Bucks as a result. BTW, whatever happened to the BuckTool?

Wow! You have an incredidble collection of old Buck ads! Theres a wealth of information in those guys.
The BuckTool was discontinued a few years back.

Thanks Joe, I was hoping everyone would get something out of these ads... I sure learned alot from them... Why did they STOP making the BuckTool anyway??? I really like the BuckTool it was a good idea that really worked...

Thanks again,
Armand

Armand,
There comes a time in every product's lifetime that a decision must be made to continue or discontinue. We had to condider the multitool market at the time, and the cost of new tooling and ect.. Unfortunately, the smart decision was to stop making the BUck tool.

Joe, I hear what your saying... Did Buck ever make a Custom BuckTool... Like one with Titanium handles with S30V blades or one with Damascus handles and all Damascus Blades and Parts... ... I don't ask for too much, Do I ??? :D

Hello everyone, if anyone else has any old Buck ads... Post a few of them on here for we can all see them... There's a lot of us that like to see and read the old or new Buck ads...

Thanks

Sorry, ITE I just saw your post. Yes, I used them. It seems like I swapped the Bucktool off. And I have regreted it as it had the best pliers and knives of any tool and was very comfotable. Because of your post on Buck ads I boughta 55, 501 and a 173. Buck still makes a very nice knife. And these came sharper than the old Buck knives.

Iam not sure how accurate this is but I have seen pics of most of these.

The list of significant Buck models:
360 BuckTool
360WM Workman (substitutes a lanyard ring for one of the screwdriver blades)
360BK (black oxide finish)
360CM (Advantage camo finish)
360CL (with belt clip)
360FL (with file blade, two variations)
355 BuckLite
350 MiniBuck
350BK (MiniBuck, with black oxide finish)

I want to thank you very much for posting those old ads, ITE! The ones from the seventy's really took me down memory lane, to a more simple time. :)

Joe, thanks for the info on the Buck Tool. Wish they still made it. I have a Buck 110 that I just bought from Wal-Mart. The knife is very well made and Wal-Mart is selling it for close to what it cost when I bought my first 110 in the seventies. Amazing that Buck can produce such a quality product for such a low price. ITE, keep the old ads coming.

Boy that's a lot of BuckTool models I didn't even know about... I still wish they could have made one with Titanium handles with S30V or ??? blades or one with Damascus handles and all Damascus Blades and Parts... Lots $$$$ for one like these, I sure... ...

Thanks,
