That looks like a great kitchen knife Jer

Nice Old Friend Jeff, I like that chunky Sheepsfoot blade

It was her favorite, and it does a great job at many things.

This one is from that old guy's recurring garage sale down that road past those apartments. He hasn't had one in years.
It's also the one that made me realize I might be an idiot to patinate knives in a bath of beer and instant mashed potatoes- see how it ate into the nickel plating on the steel bolster.

Here a favorite of mine; seven years old, slightly modified and one I could carry everyday and be completely satisfied.
Haven't had it out in a while but I'm tellin' ya, it's real joy to hold.

Carried a 2018 Forum knife so often, when a second one became available on the exchange I gladly picked it up as a spare. Sadly they've been left out of the rotation for a bit... until today. Another example of why I like Old Friends Friday.

Taking a moment once a week, to select a favorite carry from the past, does me good.
