"Old Knives"

Very nice knife Gus!

This Remington R3843 popped up on eBay last week for a very low BIN. Arrived today and surprised it had a case with it as seller never mentioned it having one, it did explain the verdigris shown in his pictures. Knife appears new, never used, I took pictures without even wiping it down as I wanted to record the condition as found.

Amazing knife Augie! Finding beauties like that makes all the time spent searching for them worth it ;)

Speaking of nice unique finds, this one popped in the door a few days ago. I know, me and my strawberries ...
A great deal on a 633865 with such smooth action, snap and the most pocket worn bone scaled knife (in one piece) I’ve ever handled. Stress cracks/fissures, all nickel/steel construction, and those beautiful pulls. I enjoy this more than any new knife !! (BLUSH)**

Nice Solid Knife there my friend!

Picked up this Camillus made High Carbon Steel stockman likely made for Sears back in the day... I just like everything about this knife :)

Kev, I really like these Knives- Sears cornered some stunners from Camillus!

Augie - I consider that an awfully nice Scout. I think we all like to get hold of Mint old Knives let’s be honest about that, but those Mint ones would all be pretty boring if all knives including the old ones were like that.
Seeing a very nicely made knife that comes from the era known for that particular Cutlery Manufacturers “ Prime
Era” is something that in itself pretty special - especially when the Bone Handles are some of that Cutlers best in that time as well as those beautiful full blades. It gives a knife enthusiast a lot more to look at and appreciate. Beautiful Knife!

So in saying this, I’d appreciate y’all packing up all those old Minties and sending them my way.
Many thanks in advance. :D

I have been waiting for this one, or one like it for quite a while. My first Robeson with a round tang stamp! Smooth w/t, and somewhat still snappy. A tad cleaned, yet retaining most of it’s original lines. The colours and jigged bone had a hold of me, and I had mentioned it to Rob @rockman0 in excitement of it’s arrival... thankfully it’s precisely as expected:):thumbsup:
