"Old Knives"

So it looks like I picked a good time to post these Ulster Camp Knives :D I just picked up the one with the "Ulster Camp Knife" etch on it and got it in today. I'm pretty sure the seller had no idea that it comes apart into two pieces because his pictures did not show it "dis-assembled". I had to tap it with a hammer to take it apart because it was rusted together. I did my normal "light" cleanup on it, except the inside which needed a good rust removal / scrubbing to get it operational again. I took some pictures of it along with my "Remember the Maine" Ellenville stamped knife. The wood on the older Ellenville stamped knife looks to be a rosewood and the latest addition is probably cocobolo.

A youngster for this group, but still, an Ulster over 50: the little Prince Albert stockman.

Not to break up the Ulster display but picked up this hard to find Remington R1183 swell center jack with saber spear blade, still has partial etch and the usual great Remington bone. For some reason the pictures make it look like its missing bone on the edges but its not, reflection I guess.

Wow, ok the Ulster card game has started, you can bet that when Lambertiana comes in - his hand is going to be loaded!
Charlie is the guy to watch at the table
P & G- Oh man you pay to get one like that now my friend- Whew!! Yours is a Beauty my friend!

Here is one like Lambertiana's - the 10th Division, but this one here has a Liner lock, having a Forged in USA Stamp- I suspect heavily the Linerlock would have been a SFO requirement of Sears to make it stand out... I have seen many of these but this is a first for me..

Mine has a liner lock on the punch, too. The master is stamped Ulster/Knife Co/NY.

I have been watching for years now for an Ulster barlow that actually has the "Dwight Divine" or even the "Ulster Knife Co" tang stamp but I have never seen one. Makes me think it was introduced into Ulster's selection post WWII. Even the sawcut bone like this one is relatively rare to find in decent shape. If anybody has one, I would love to see it! :D Maybe @herder has some old catalog info or one of our other catalog gurus.

EDIT: DISREGARD... I WENT TO THE FINAL PAGE TO SEE waynorth waynorth 's barlows LOL!
Here are some nice ones, Kevin!! Augie Augie owns them now I think!!??Ulster Mints 1.jpg Ulster Mints 2.jpg

Lambertiana - Thank you very much for coming back with this! To me that’s great news as my one was the only one that I have seen with the liner lock, so the another question has been answered
So there goes my theory that it being Forged USA that Sears had this as one of their options, with yours having the Ulsters stamp.
Lambertiana can I ask at some stage you repost that Ulster showing all blades so I can see the difference ( if any ) of the configuration - this is to see what is different about the Sears model ( again if any).
If anyone else has the Ulster knife in discussion please post :)

Nice Remington Augie

Charlie those Swell Centre's are amazing, I remember when Augie took over those Barlow’s - I can see why Augie you are very happy to have them!

The first picture shows the blades; the only other picture I have handy is this one, showing the blade layout in the well:
