"Old Knives"

Phew - Charlie that’s just plain gorgeous. You would be fighting to get better Stag and like you say - that punch is awesome, I really like that Punch!!!!!

Beautiful batch of Camillus and a great Needham Bros, Charlie. I am especially partial to the bareheaded Camillus with the Washington boster.
Very nice Case jack, huntnfishin, great one to put in your pocket.
Lovely Case jack, ISKRA.
Great find on the Gardner, Augie. The Catt MOP whittler is a great knife as well and I really like the Camillus toenail!
Lloyd, two beautiful Robeson PocketEze. Both lovelies, but, I really like the slim sleeveboard jack!

Very nice Augie- what is the measurements of that one please Sir?
As per usual with these Robeson Knives of this era - just an outstanding knife with beautiful Bone Handles.

I too picked up a large Robeson Jack that has the Sabre grind , never been touched in its life, Composite Handle material it has the ink still on the blade and apparently was a one of only a handful made for the presentation to the buyer for ( now I am going by memory here - will have to look this up again) A Govt. department- be it Naval or similar.

It wasn’t one that was picked so it remains one of a very small batch that never ended up being manufactured.
I have the copies of the build sheets somewhere.

Thanks guys, Duncan it is 3 3/4" just like Lloyd's great knife. It has a heavy substantial feel to it and great snap.

Thanks Duncan, Rob, Charlie, Dan, Augie, Mike and Paul for the kind comments—much appreciated!!

Here is a Robeson PocketEze split back Whittler. Again, sunken joints and worm groove/Indian trail
jigged bone. I like the blade selection—spear main and clip and pen secondaries. It is 3 & 5/8 inches
closed. Never sharpened post production. Pattern No. 633499.

Now I believe Charlie is right regarding his above post! You have collected the best Robesons on the planet! Fantastic whittler and I love the combination of blades!

Great Old Sheffield Hawkbill Ed! 👍

Charlie I can see why you wouldn’t want to leave those two behind! Man the Cell is Slim!
