It seems easier to post early mornin’ so here goes ….
I remember John’s first Nagle, with a little help from Mike-galvanic supplying the spare main. Another fine gesture and example !
I just lurve the stamps with the pat. date and the likely model number !!

Wunderful pieces these Nagles with an array of blades that Mike Robuck’s pic clearly shows in comparison to John’s particular spare.
Thanks for these shares gents !!

As I’ve said before and don’t mind saying again and again…
All of you here are a huge part of the porch making just about any day better with such beautiful pieces including the history behind them.
Thank you ALL
🤩:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks Gus, this old knives thread is my favorite, this one and the barlow thread. Appreciate everyone that posts here.

Mawvellous picture of their variety of blades shown John !! I do wonder if Mike’s got some more candy for us to see as well ?
Oh… and a good morning to you !

My wife found this Schrade Cut utility knife in its original box (pre-WWII), and bought it for my Birthday, 12 years ago!! :)

Seriously, how sweet that is Charlie and endlessly precious.

This knife in some form has been posted many times here before, John Augie Augie and Charlie waynorth waynorth have posted theirs before as those wonderful images are locked into my head. Well, after 6+ years I was lucky enough to get one of my very own:oops:;) :D

A Schrade Walden 710 Farmers Jack, and I am soooo happy to have and now carry one. I LOVE this knife and treasure it as much as Charlie and Lyle's version through GEC. I (along with many, many others) have those two to thank for introducing me to the pattern and it is one of my favorite patterns in traditional knives. This version is slightly bigger and I'm guessing by maybe a 1/4" other owners can correct me if I'm wrong, I just don't have a tape measure near me to confirm.

This is not pristine so it allows me to carry, use and enjoy on a regular basis. The spey is down but the pruner appears near full, the covers vary from side to side in color and have one slight imperfection but no pin cracks but still I absolutely love this knife and I FINALLY have the pleasure of owning one for my time left on this planet ;) so l just hope I get 20/25 yrs of use out of it :D

That's a fantastic Knife Charlie- Joanne's a Gem that's for sure! Man, What's a Sweetheart of a Knife- Literally.

Paul, A hunt that has been going on for some years now my friend! I am so Happy for you!
Thats a gorgeous Knife, looks extremely similar - in fact exact to the one I purchased and had sent to your place - but it didn't show? ...mmm weird :-) :-)

Great catching up this morning / your afternoon my friend!

Congratulations! That looks to be in excellent shape, and as you said, just enough wear that you will actually use and carry it. Enjoy it in good health!
