John, would you go back to work, there's gonna be nothin left for the rest of usCan't say I've run across one of these Ulster's before, a small 2 3/4" boys knife that somehow managed to keep its chain, still has a faint Ulster Brand etch. Ulster Knife Co tang stamp.

Nice H&B, John!! I think blade-stamps, and serious match-strikes add wonderful touches to a Jack!!Charlie, Paul, Gus, thank you guys, was pretty happy to find one that still had its chain.
Added this single blade 3 1/2" Humason&Beckley jack, considering it's at least 110 years old it's in pretty nice original condition. The horn covers only have minor cracks and the blade still has original finishes and sharpening scratches. H&B seemed to use a lot of horn and stag, more so than other American makers.

Striking similarities, I agree; they seem to have come off the same production settings!!They both have the same features.
Nice Pen, Rob!! Empire was a quality knifemaker - the GEC of its Day!!3 1/4" Empire senator. Fancy steel liners on top and bottom, sunk joints and ink on the main blade.
