Knives like that Senator always remind me of Chucko...
Beautiful work.
Scored one I’ve been after for a while now. Remington r123. Does anyone else in here have one they’d like to show off while I wait on mine to make it?View attachment 1763949

Post them anytime!! I love old Relics!! Yours appear to be 150 years old, according to Goins'!!I've posted these before but I hope no one minds new photos of these relics:
Coquanoc
Works
Philad'a
(1876)
I was asked if the scales might be baleen, and I think that's a pretty fair question.
That’s legendary!Picked up another sheepsfoot jack, a large feeling just over 3 3/4" John Primble India Steel Works. Looking at the bone and bolster thinking it may have been made by Miller Bros.

Every time I see one of your posts, I leap for it, John, hoping it's yet another of your amazing finds!! My off again/on again relationship with Case surely appreciates this historic WR in fine shape!! Nice going once again!! A Goody!!!Added an early Case family 3 5/8" jack this week, W.R.Case&Son, tang stamp with the Little Valley NY is fairly hard to find, apparently only used a couple years. Not too bad for its age, light snap on the main, warm glow to the wood covers.
