Here is an interesting one I picked up. Brantford Cutlery Co. Didn't find much info on it. Apparently Brantford was a brand for Butler Bros. between 1910-1930 A faint "Never Dull" etch is visible on the blade.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

Great question. What is the closed length on that one, James?
Cal it’s actually a little over 3 1/2. Looks like 3 5/8 to me but I’m not sure if it is typical to just say 3 1/2??? Is it correct to be exact or round to the half inch? What is the closed length on that one, James?
Very Nice, if that is the one I think it is I had a chance to check it out, almost bought it myself.Added a Henry Sears & Sons 1865 curved sheepsfoot jack to the collection this week. 3 5/8" with a thick heavy feel to it. To me it is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye with the curve of the frame and the sheepsfoot blade.

Nice minty Schrade, I like that a lot. While I had some knives out over the weekend I took a bunch of pics. Over the last couple of years I have traded and sold a bunch of knives to focus on just honk falls but there are a dozen or so “old knives” that I hung on to. I don’t want to monopolize the thread but would like to contribute to this great thread and share some pics. Here is a schrade cut that I’m happy to have. View attachment 1801839

Not in the same league, Augie but a pleasing little Henry Sears whittler.

Very nice!We found this Koch Corn Knife at an estate sale last week.
Koch Corn Knife (1874-1933)
Corn? Nope.
Corns? Yep.
These were made by several companies and were used to remove corns and calluses from feet.
Freidrich Audust Koch was in business between 1874 - 1933 in New York City. He imported German knives - http://www.strazors.com/index.php?id=380
