That Kent is out of this world man! I'm not familiar with that company, I'll have to look into it. I suppose that's what GEC based their H10,20,30,40... off of maybe.
Yeah the GEC H10 ignited my love for those old "Sportsman" style small bowie type knives and I ended up going down a rabbit hole finding vintage versions. From what I could dig up in research, I believe most (or all) of the Kent branded knives were made by Camillus as like an SFO for Woolworths stores. The best thing is, if you dig around online long enough looking for old "sportsman" vintage fixed blades you can often find awesome old knives from Kent, Camillus, Colonial, and others for pretty decent prices since their collectibility doesn't seem to have taken off. That Kent is out of this world man! Yep, Kent was a budget line for Woolworth's Five and Dime.Yeah the GEC H10 ignited my love for those old "Sportsman" style small bowie type knives and I ended up going down a rabbit hole finding vintage versions. This one was probably on the cheaper side, in wood (looks like cocobolo to me) sans guard:

And another in jigged bone:

They sharpen up nicely:

Thanks, I should pull it out of the drawer for some better photos one of these days.I actually have another similar Kent but in jigged rosewood. I've also been wanting to try one of the guardless versions like yours. I concur, these thing sharpen up to absolute laser beams... that thin blade stock and tall full-flat grind makes these supreme slicers!
Love that jigged bone one you've got there!

Any excuse to spend more time playing with knives is a good one in my book. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more photos either! Thanks, I should pull it out of the drawer for some better photos one of these days.
That's a nice jigged wood one you've got!
I was watching that one Augie ( if it was the one I am thinking of ), I am trying to tighten the money belt lol, and @paulhilborn gifted me a Camillus Bone TL-29 incredibly so I didn't go for it!
I'm waiting on a box of Knives that my Post Master has sent, so by the time the box is ready to send, I'm patching up my wallet
Thats a nice one my friend!
Cal- Like Charlie said, Nice Cat, in the very first few seconds of seeing your 1st photo I thought it was a Schrade! Nice knife matey.
That Sword Brand tang stamp... that jigged bone...Nice fixed blades being shown. If I remember right they are considered Outers style knifes. Many were made by Camillus both for Camillus and many other companies.
This Camillus I have is the only one I've seen with a Sword Brand stamp.
