"Old Knives"

Here are two old four-bladed knives. The stag by Needham Bros and the mop a recent acquisition marked looks like Baxter & Sons Sheffield. Milled liners, swedges, long nail nicks and fancy backspring.

lambertia. Awsome array of jacks! I especially like the ulster pruner. I'll have to take some more pics and post a few of my jacks on here. wonderful, just wonderful!

Hey guys, I have been really busy lately and haven't had time to post much. There are some really great rare knives showing up in this thread. Here are some recent finds. First is a large Robeson English Jack, then a Press Button Knife Co. large hunter, Then a Schrade two blade press button pen knife. I will try to get a few more up later. - Dan

What is the blade length on the press button, from bolster to tip, it is so similiar to mine previously posted, wonder if ring at rear was added later, other wise they look so much the same.

James, my knife is the same model as yours but it has seen a lot more use. I was told by a Schrade collector that the knife was offered with a bail, but I have no idea if mine is original. Also, is the button on your knife on the opposite bolster as mine like the picture shows? If so yours is very unusual. - Dan

I will check when I get home, I think my blade has been shortened and cleaned,:grumpy: what length is your blade from bolster to tip? I will let you know about image, could have been mirrored in error. Thanks,
Jim

Some how my image got mirrored, do not have a clue as to when that happened, but mine is like yours without the bail and possibly shorter blade.
Let me know about length, really curious.
James

James, the length of my blade is 3 11/16". I am not sure my bade is full length. If I had to guess mine is probably missing about 1/16". This knife originally had a large etch reading Invincible. - Dan

Either both knives had the same amount of usage, UNBELIEVABLE, mine is 3 11/16" tip to bolster, or neither is short. Anyway, if you decide to sell that jewel, his brother is interested in reuniting.
My friends call me Jim,
I hope you will too.

I have been looking for one of those Schatt & Morgans for quite some time S-K. Hopefully I will find one at the WKCC April show. I haven't had much luck finding old knives lately, but here are a couple of little ones that I haven't posted yet.
