Another 804, with the SCHRADE WALDEN on the shield. Not sure if that helps date it, but it looks like Delrin to me, so after '61.

Thanks Duncan, and wow that is a nice one you have, very pristine. There are a lot of similarities to mine, slightly different shield, and different pulls as you mentioned. I like a long pull on a knife. I thought it interesting on mine the nail nick is nice and long and they put a straight match strike pull on the punch on mine.Jeff, yet another superb example from your expansive Collection my friend! In fact everyone has supplied gorgeous examples for us to feast our eyes on!
Wow- P & G. I always enjoy your posts, and that lovely 1865 line Harness Jack Knife from Henry Sears is why - love it Gorgeous Bone, I have one somewhere.... looking. looking........
Aha! found it, I was wondering if your example had the same Bone.
Nice to see the differences in the two Knives from Nail Nick to Long Pull!![]()
I love that long Nail Pull on yours as well P & G!

Wonderful condition, Lloyd!! I will look for the markings; etches, shields etc!!!Beautiful 804 Jeff!! P & G and Duncan outstanding HJs!!
Here is a Schrade Cut utility/camp knife I recently acquired! Thanks to my good friend Mike (galvanic 1882) who found it and then offered it to me!! It is in unused, never carried, factory edges never sharpened post production. I would say it is mid to late 1930s produced. Has anyone seen one like it with a shield Camp Knife and this blade etch? I carefully examined all the Schrade catalogs and the various web sites including BF but could not find one like it. If you have any ideas or have seen one like it or even just one with this shield ”Camp King” please respond. Thank you very much!!

Thank you, Sir. Am all caught up to the present day of this thread. And WOW, it just kept getting better and better.Well, in another month when you get caught up to this reply, just wanted to say welcome in and glad you are enjoying the old knives info and images. I share a lot of your same sentiments regarding all the beautiful and historic old cutlery brands and patterns from 60-120 years ago. Something about them just can't be replicated.
Love the EO NYKC one a lot, but the Empire shield is really cool.
