Like Charlie said Dan- What a nice tri of gorgeous Boxes- great picking so far if those are your only three!

Here's one I got with some older Russell Cutlery - although the Russell Cutlery was old- I am thinking Civil war period( why do we keep saying Civil War Period - is it to make it sound better and more collectable? when we should say mid 1800's ?)

Not so old, but a cool box with the cool Package ( purchased from a BF friend here)

Knife is like Brand new

Original box - in showing a hard life, but still there- so yep- gimme it!!! , The box came with the original; Knives - our good friend Charlie has a step up of the exact of what I am showing here!
These Knives were found stashed away in a shed here in New Zealand, and it was a Canadian chap who notified me to their existence - isnt it amazing how these things work out? Thank you again to my Canadian friend.

Thanks Charlie and Duncan, the one on the right is definitely the oldest and most interesting.

Campbellclanman , love the Ulster scout with the box and paperwork. That box full of Lockwood Bros ettricks has to be your find of a lifetime.

In the US, people seem to be suckers for anything that is supposedly Civil War era, and will pay more for anything that the seller claims is Civil War without even bothering to find out if it is really from that time period.
