I love seeing the old artwork boxes. The oldest I have is not in your class, but still fun to see. I'm thinking late '50s on this Robeson.

Here's another Abercrombie and Fitch Knife , German Contract made this time.

I love the styling and workmanship on this beast, interesting Lock mechanism - nothing new, but it works very well.

Man I love that knife!!!

Mike I bought an I*XL of you a while back that had the very same "Popcorn Stag" type of handle material.
The Colouration sways you to Stag immediately doesnt it, but man, those latest knives you have shown are quite phenomenal, the amount of depth in the Knife circles over there is something I envy greatly, but always appreciate people like yourself sharing these post for us to feats our eyes on!

Yes I remember that knife!! Wish I had it back, sold it when I needed cash. I have 4 with that material whatever it is!

I love to see the boxes!

I like the Carrier box. I grew up in Big Flats, just over the hill from Elmira. If we wanted to go to the big city, it was Elmira. i need to add a Carrier knife to my collection.

Ha Ha!!!
It must be Stag or Horn; bone just doesn't get malleable enough even when you heat or soak it!! I think it's a form of "second cut" (and pressed) stag!!

Mike - if that's the case, the we NEED to see them!

I too am a real fan of those old Boxes, I don't have many at all, NOTHING in the way of those, I picked up a Fox Cutlery Older Box as I have Fox Cutlery Harness Jacks( as well as an older Fox Cutlery Jack).
