"Old Knives"

I have a wife who understands my addiction and I understand her passion for shoes. Charles

Jake, I was also bidding on that ebony version to go with my 2 jigged bones versions, but I just wasn't bidding enough. Congratulations! Charles

Here are a couple of jigged bone versions of the same NYK swayback. The one on the bottom of the pictures is an earlier (pre - Hammer). I like the jigged bone in those early New York Knives. Charles

Those are grand old knives Charles...

Got this Shapleigh Hardware jack in the mail today. Pretty worn, but a steal at 15 dollars off the bay.

Vanguard - That Shapleigh sure looks like it was made by NYKC.

GEC Fan - I especially like that older Case pen pattern.

Here's a well used NYKC whittler

Charles, your knives are bringing a breath of lovely fresh air....man have you got some absolutely lovely knives.... so good to see them here and on Micks thread! Thats quite a cool Jack right there!

Lambertiana, that NYKC whittler may be well used, but it shows it age well, and still has lots of life as a beautiful user!.. it just looks stunning, and as Vanguard has said...neat shield!

Gec fan,
2nd photo down ... that is a lovely looking Trapper, well used and well looked after - lovely knife! What are the scales? Also the Jack in the last photo is a very nice knife as well...good score

Well guys excellence knives. Vanguard, GEC Fan, Lambertiana and Chuko your knives prove that nothing can't compete the good old ones.
Thanks for sharing.
Mike
