"Old Knives"

Who is the maker on this beauty? Thanks for sharing

You're welcome Gevonovich :) It is a Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & Co.
They didn't manufacture knives. Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. had a large selection of hardware, tools, cutlery, paints, sporting goods and many more items with different brand names to choose from. They also offered many advertised give-away items for their many merchants to distribute.
In the later years, HSB & Co. also sold Keen Kutter razor blades and pocket knives, Marbles hunting knives, and Winchester flashlights as found in their catalogs.

HSB & Co. is now called True Value. I purchased this knife not only for its great looks, but for the history that is tied along with it.

This old Robeson is a cousin to another I have. Great bone and snap on this one. I'll try to get some better pics once it warms up a bit.

I thought I had that same knife, abut mine's a barehead. It's sort of like a mini Barlow or a broad peanut.

Nice one there also, I believe the handles are just a bit narrower on yours. I just missed one on the bay not too long ago like it. Fine knife indeed.

I was able to take advantage of some sunshine at lunch and got some (qiuck) better pics, I also cleaned it up just a bit.

Thank you Mike and puukkoman! Carried it today, this knife was built by some very talented cutler to last for the ages!

Here's an old John Primble Belknap Gentleman's Jack with waterfall covers and stamped bottom bolster.
