Al - wow - man those are two great looking knives right there Sir! wonderful!

Got this old PocketEze today, it has been around the block a few times, but it sure feels good in hand.

That's a great knife - can we see more please simpleman - hard to beat that Robeson Bone-and that example is just that wee bit better than the norm!!!

Thanks. Sure, I'm always glad to show nice ones off (or rough ones for that matter). I have been blessed with the last several ones I have accumulated having good bone on them.

The pen has been sharpened down a bit, and the main has just a bit of wobble open, but that just shows someone has taken care of it and used it for some time.

Awesome! - that main is fairly close to full - what a great knife!!! its a good day when you pick up a knife like that - thanks so much for sharing!

Nice Robeson Pocketeze with jigged bone. Looks to be in great shape. Here is a cigar jack in jigged bone with blade etch still visible. New York knife / Hammer Brand.

Charles,
As everyone has said-man that's a corker!! isn't it something special seeing these old knives in such wonderful condition!

Thanks everybody for the comments. Finding these old and lightly used gems is a special experience, keeps me on the hunt.

I posted this one in another thread, but it also belongs here. A nice little WATER-VILLE Co. (1890-1913) Serpentine Wharncliffe with jigged bone.

Charles the NYKC and Water-Ville are really outstanding. I think I commented on the Water-Ville in another thread but the company has an interesting history as well.

Ok chuko wins....hehe.

That has got to be the best Hammer Brand I have seen, amazing bone. The best Hammer I have had was baby blue plastic :grumpy:. And that Waterville is one you don't see either. Great ones.

Thanks for the comments. Here is a lesser known jack marked Majestic / Cutlery / Germany (1904-1927) a brand used by Matthews & Lively.

That's a cool one Chuko! I have heard of this brand before, they actually made some boys knives as well. Those Germans knew what they were doing when it came to steel. Here's one that arrived at my door today. Schrade Cut Co. celluloid with Washington bolsters, a nice little Jack knife.

You boys have been pulling out the big guns lately. Simply stunning knives, everyone!
