MY SPECIAL PRIMBLE KNIFE:

John Primble India Steel Works English Steel Hand Forged bone bare headed Jack Knife, circa 1930's-1940's.
Also features a long pull match strike master blade, 3 and 1/2 inches closed, and pretty reddish-brown jigged bone handles.

Some of you that have read my personal profile might know how I got the "Primble" nick-name, many many years ago.
When I obtained this old Primble, I paid more than I wanted, but, am now glad I found it and bought it.
I usually find something I want to change a little on an old knife, but, this one was close to how I like them and I left it as found.
The overall quality of this old John Primble makes me proud of my nick-name. ;)

Primple I must say this is one of "if not" THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LOOKING folding knife I've ever laid my eyes on.

It is just dripping coolness , nostalgia , and embodies the durability of fine workmanship & history all rolled into one beautifully put together pocket knife

I can only imagine the dressers , night stands , pockets this knife has sat on or in over the years and the stories told in it's presence.. If knives could talk !!

I bet if someone was given the exact same parts right down to the brass pins it wouldn't look the same as yours.

Some knives just seem to have a certain aura about them, an almost soulful feeling and this one you have Primple,.... most definitely has it .. For what ever reason.. mine is lacking that

Thank you for your comments and this one, as well as many old knives would have quite the stories to tell if they could talk! :)

I think I hear Rostropovich ( Bach cello suite No. 2 D minor ) in that picture. Can we get the makers of the lovelies...please?

As I might have mentioned I reduced my collection to very few ones that I carry. But from time to time I see something that I can not resist, one of these is the following Schatt and Morgan dogleg
