"Old Knives"

Lyle, I heavily suspect I know who that chap is, but as Lambertiana said, count me in on that list for sure!!!
Man I cant believe how much of a Tank the M&G is!

Several really nice old knives posted lately, thanks for sharing.
This one is a neat little knife, wife got it at the local Tuesday night auction in a grab bag of knives. Appears to be a small pocket knife for nail care. It is very well made, German, appears to be stamped, Aug Mulle, Sohne Germany, still nice and tight. Put a picture in with it next to a GEC 77 for size.

Yes, very nice Sleeveboard Lobster Augie, great find :)

Here is a 3 1/2" Swell Center 2 blade Razor Point Jack knife marked "Cast Steel" on the master flats and on the tang the logo of a crown with "K & M" under it.

Here's a nice old Challenge Cut Co whittler with real nice jigged bone covers, tapered back center liner, and wharncliffe main. In person this one really feels like an old Schrade for some reason...

That is a beautiful old dogleg whittler! Really pretty! Would it be considered a Norfolk Whittler?

Seems there's been a lot of MOP contributions to this amazing thread lately so here's a few of mine...

This is one of my absolute favorites in my MOP whittler stash. For a nice old whittler this beauty has it all and a very rare bird to match!!!

This one was a salesman sample and still has some catalog numbers on the back of the main blade. Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of the pile side of the blades, dang it. Not sure of the age on this one or what the whittler pattern would be considered. I was told it was made in the 1920's and I'm guessing you could call it a humpback whittler, either way she's a beauty IMHO!!!

GREAT knives, gents!

Love the worn bone on the Challenge and the Walden bone is impeccable as always.

That Northfield is wonderful and the MOP on the Utica outstanding!

Here is a shot of another Utica, a Miller and an Empire

Great little MOP whittler. I have a Mosley in the same pattern, though yours is in better shape.
