Some astonishingly beautiful knives there Vince
I received this knife last week from the ever-generous 'Old & In The Way'

Joseph Haywood & Co were an esteemed 19th century firm of Sheffield cutlers, whose mark passed to Needham, Veall & Tyzack and Thomas Turner & Co. According to Geoffery Tweedale this occurred as a joint acquisition in 1902, with an agreement reached that only Turner's were to continue with the pocket-knives. According to other sources, Needham, Veal, and Tyzack acquired the firm in 1902, primarily to add the Haywood factory to their portfolio, and the business passed to Turner's in 1914.
