Ivory Knife
It has been a while since I posted on this thread and I hope I am not interrupting anything. BUT I had to show somebody this unusual knife I picked up this week. I assume it to be ivory and it works well with lots of snap.

The ivory spring is absolutely RARE and awesome! Thank you so much for sharing!

I totally agree with me Ol' Mate Gev, that beautiful Jack is a stunning knife, for an old Vintage it's hardly done a days work and the Bone is just gorgeous, I see there is an etch on the Blade Randy - can you show us more such as the stampings - and of the Bone as well? - thats a beauty!

Nice Atkins Saw, Randy!!

Indeed, can you show us more??

Started a gentle clean process. A lot of oiling and rag rubbing. Blades snap at a 7-8 and there is no play.

Thanks Jake. And mine is 4 1/4" just like the catalogue says. I much prefer this size. 5" is too big, the long narrow blade seems fragile to me. The 3" size feels too small to be useful for most 'outside' cutting needs. This 4 1/4" size feels just right.
Rough Rider is the only brand i know of that makes a Toothpick in this 'medium' size.

Kj, S&M made a beautiful 4¼" toothpick in their File & Wire series back in 2006. They can still be found on the secondary markets. Besides the nice bone, they have ATS-34 stainless blades.
