"Old Knives"

That's an amazing find, Lee!
It looks like Empire's work for sure. A Premier Cattle knife is a rare bird indeed!

Thanks Charlie ... and thanks for posting lots of the good info in the past regarding the connection between Shapleigh and Empire which helped me to determine the maker of this knife!!

This very nice looking Barlow Harry, you are very lucky to find it. I love the rounded bolsters and the bone is real nice. I am watching for one of these and a Russel Barlow, but these are hard to get by in good condition.

Thanks very much Mike ! I found this at the knife show close by here and this was the only Catt. Barlow I saw and I saw no Standard sized Russell .

Fantastic Harry

I've been busy lately and really need to catch up with this thread :o

John Ryalls & Sons (1890-1915) Sleeveboard, ivory covers.

Great to see all your great old knives Jack Sir- I really like that Sleeve-board - the Ivory is just amazing!

A post was moved to Rough Rider & Related Slipjoints. The knives weren't old enough for this thread.
A second post was moved to the Boker sub forum.
